Why MetrologyJobs.com?
In January of 1999 I attended the Measurement Science Conference. One of the seminars I attended was "who's training metrologists." At the end, the discussion was opened up to the audience for questions and comments. This showed the deep concern and need for metrologists now and in the future. I pondered the subject and reflected to when I was looking for a job in the Los Angeles area. If I was lucky, I would see one to three advertisements in a month! I came to the conclusion that not only are metrology professionals hard to come by, but, the job openings are not very visible.
In an effort to create a centralized place to find metrology professionals we will post the qualifications brief of metrology professionals that are looking for employment, advertise positions available for metrology professionals, and resumes of students that are looking to enter the field of metrology. This site is a one stop, centralized place for employers from all over the world to find metrology professionals and vis versa.
